AWANA is a non-denominational Bible based club for kids. Children learn Bible verses, play games, learn songs, earn awards, and have a great time doing so. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve him.
AWANA is one of Riverdale's most effective ministries. Awana kids range from age 3 through the 12th grade. Awana meets on Sunday nights from 5:45 until 8:00.
Our AWANA kids participate in Bible Quizzing, the AWANA Olympics, and the Spark-a-rama with other area AWANA clubs. The Grad Prix race is held in the spring here at Riverdale.
The kids really enjoy themselves in AWANA, and more importantly they hide in their hearts verses they will need for the rest of their lives.
Transportation is avaliable for kids who need it. Please invite any kids you know who would like to come and join and have fun while learning Christian values.
